We stink at blogging

Monday, August 13, 2007

Well its official we stink at blogging, but we decided to break our blogging silence because we love all of you. Our anniversary was yesterday day it has been two years. This second year has gone fast, Coy changed positions at Calvary, we had a baby, we moved several time and ended up in Montana. It was a busy but good year. Were driving to Spokane right now for a little Anniversary bash, we can’t wait to get there. Although for awhile I thought we might have to turn around. July and August are fire season in NW Montana and you feel it. Last night we had to keep the doors and windows shut because if not it smelt like a camp fire, the smoke is so thick in the air that the sun looks red (freaky I know) How do I know its red because you can look directly at it, Yes I know your not supposed to but it is so smoked out that the first time we saw it we thought it was the moon. Anyways back to the road trip so I was driving while Coy studied, and the smoke was so thick that I thought we were going to drive right into the fire, but we didn’t. Finally it cleared up and the drive was beautiful. There are so many cute towns that we have driven through but non that you would really ever want to live in. We are excited to go to a real mall and to just spend time together as a family, we’ll let you know how it goes.

Some Happenings

Wow we still can’t believe it, WE LIVE IN MONTANA! Things are starting to fall into place, we are pretty much settled in our house, the crusade is coming up on the 15th and we have our first student ministry service on July 19th. Coy taught for Levi this morning about God’s heart for the youth and then after service we had a “Get to Know Coy and Sara Time” with parents and their students. We have been busy but not too busy to miss all of our friends and family, especially as we see Emma grow and learn. She is officially mobile via the army crawl and she gets louder every day, her favorite thing to say is dadada (she doesn’t know what she is saying, but Coy likes to think she does) the best is when she whispers it. We really do love and miss everyone back in NM.

Montana Madness!!!

Tuesday, June 26, 2007

So we have been in Montana for two weeks now! What a journey it has been already.
We have driven a lot, slept very little, blown through car alternators and tires, tipped over in a canoe, and had so much fun. It has been really great getting to know the people of Fresh Life Church, what a amazing group of people. We have really been embraced by this congregation. We are all looking forward to serving these people in the years to come! It has been quite the adjustment living in a small town in northwest Montana, but God has really blessed us and has given us so much grace.

So here we are...IN MONTANA!
Just waiting.... waiting to see what God has in store for us here.
